If your customers love Duck Dynasty and Sugar Bear(sp?), then camo texture fills and Comic Sans-like fonts are very comfortable and appealing to that audience. best represents the mission of your business TO YOUR CUSTOMERS? Remember the logo and any graphic design is to attract the customers you are building your business for. This Vector Graphics article has a sample picture. Vector Graphics resize better: stretching doesn't distort. Vector Graphics print out better: smooth and crisp lines.
This is something made by Illustrator or Inkscape. I too think you will be better off with a vector graphic.
